Description |
In partnership with Myriam Desmarquis from Pleine NatureThe Pleine Nature Walking Club offers an activity combining hiking and forest bathing. The pace of the walk will be slow or moderate (participants can easily converse while walking), and your comfort is our priority throughout the entire journey. Moreover, breaks focused on relaxation and connection with nature are planned along the route. By combining physical activity and mindfulness, you give yourself a complete well-being experience while enjoying the benefits of nature. Here are some words about the practice of forest bathing:This practice, also known as shinrin-yoku, was first developed in Japan in the 1980s. Shinrin-yoku, which literally translates to "forest bathing," aims to promote a sense of relaxation, connection with nature, and well-being by enjoying the beauty of the forest. Research surrounding forest bathing suggests that this practice can help strengthen the immune system, increase energy levels, and reduce stress. Example of a walk itinerary, subject to change depending on the group or weather conditions:
Cancellation Policy: Regarding weather conditions, walks take place rain or shine, unless extreme weather conditions are forecasted (freezing rain, strong winds, or intense cold). Participants will be informed 24 hours in advance. The canceled session will then be rescheduled for another date. |
